We could not be more pleased and happy with the work done by Ideal Stairs. We found Ideal Stairs online, and we were impressed by the number of videos we could watch on their site. We needed to have the carpet removed from the second floor (1200sqft) and the two staircases, installed the hardwood and remake the stairs with brand new steps, risers, and spindles. It was such a pleasure to work with Mesh and Raj.
I could not believe how responsive Mesh was, from the moment we sent him the pictures with the stairs until we signed the contract. He had such patience in answering a million questions, allowing us to go back and forth on our decisions and reassuring us that we will stay on schedule! He also gave us hardwood samples to take home and see what will match best.
When the job started, Rajan visited us every day to make sure that we were happy with the work done. How could we not be? Such a hard-working crew! They made sure that they always cleaned at the end of each day and they were very respectful and quiet. Rajan’s professionalism and project management skills are outstanding. He made everything look so easy, which made us feel relaxed and comfortable with the project.

Ideal Stairs is one of the best companies we have dealt with over many years of renovation projects. Our house built in the mid-80s had typical carpet covered center hall curved stairs with wooden spindles as a main feature. In five days the Ideal team transformed them to solid dark wood with black iron spindles, making the stairs a beautiful modern feature of our home. They also installed matching plank hardwood in the upper hallway to complete the project.
I simply sent pictures of our existing stairs and we received a firm quote that was significantly lower than competitors who had priced the job. We visited their showroom production warehouse to pick a wood color and railing style. The customer service staff and installation staff were second to none in their hard work and follow up.

We recently had Mesh, Rajan and their install team renovate our staircase along with installing hardwood on our second floor landing. We had planned to do this renovation in July and after a few calls out to other stair companies in the area, all not able to take on the job until 2018, Mesh and Rajan accepted the job, even though we weren’t in the GTA… and we are very glad they did.
The entire experience from beginning to end was a very positive one and we knew right from the start, we had made the right decision to go with Ideal Stairs. They called regularly throughout the renovation to check in to see if we were happy with how things were progressing, and to ask if there were any issues or concerns. We decided to go with Ideal because the wood was stained with the initial coats at their factory and then the finishing coats applied onsite. Hi, Ideal Stairs just finished up and they did a wonderful job. The guys came every day and worked hard. They cleaned up everything every day and didn’t leave a mess. Everything was done efficiently and we didn’t have a problem with anything. It was very easy to work with them and they had a great price and we are very happy, thank you.

So we had a carpet on our stairs with a light hardwood. We wanted to replace it with dark hardwood on our stairs and white spindles, and actually put in hardwood flooring. I’m a pretty detail oriented individual, so I did months and months of research before we decided to go with Ideal Stairs. The reason why I decided to go with Ideal Stairs is because they had a wide selection of products and colors. They were very knowledgeable on stairs and they were actually referred to us by a friend. The price was fair compared to the other quotes we received. When they were here doing the work, they left very little mess and went above and beyond our expectations. So, thank you Mesh, Rajan and their team for helping modernize the look of our home.

When we decided to do certain rooms, staircase and hardwood flooring, we decided to get three quotes. The Ideal Stairs quote was the best. So we decided to go with Rajan because we found the presentation compared to excellent. He had pictures to show us what our staircase will look when it is done completely. Once he started the work he completed it as promised in 5-6 working days. His workers were excellent, did exactly what we wanted nothing less. What was expected from a staircase was done. We just had our stairs refinished by Ideal Stairs. The thing I like the most about Ideal Stairs is the end solution. Everything was very well planned out. Very informative, lots of pictures to look at and lots of samples to choose from. The price was reasonable, it was fair. As you can see with the workmanship, we are very happy with the end product. The other thing that I really loved was the scheduling. We have young kids and we like to know when things are going to start and when things are going to finish. Everything that they had planned saying what they would do on day one, and what will be finished by day three was fantastic. They were right on schedule. What was going to happen was going to happen. Overall very happy. My neighbours are already asking to come see the stairs and asked who did our stairs. We are very happy with Ideal Stairs.
